At a recent tasting, this was my vote for top vintage of Opus between 2012 and 2019.  It still needs time, but well stored bottled will score 100 points with a bit more development.  It is a blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and a small bit of Malbec.  Deep, inky purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is tight but with air shows cassis, blueberries, coffee, cedar, spice and char.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Great backbone of acidity.  On the palate, this is complex and concentrated.  Flavors of cassis, char, graphite, slight dark chocolate and spice.  Long finish.  This needs a few more years in the cellar and should drink well for twenty to thirty years after that.  It went well
