This winery buys juice around the country and then makes the wine in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.  This version was 2017 juice but the wines are not labelled with a vintage.  There is a wide range of quality and styles in these wines and some of them a very nice.  All of them are fun.  This one is made from California Sauvignon Blanc juice and is a tribute to the Playhouse Square are in downtown Cleveland.  Light golden in color.  It has nice grapefruit on the nose.  On the palate, there is good acidity with some grapefruit notes.  A bit short on the finish.  Will work with a wide variety of li

This is a blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Plyto.  Light gold in color with green swirls.  The nose is interesting with a Sweet-Tart candy quality with green and orange flavors.  On the palate, the notes become more identifiable as citrus with lemon and lime.  Dry with good acidity.  It is full bodied with a lovely texture.  This drinks bigger than the sum of its parts and has a nice finish.  Works well on its own but would would well with lighter foods.  It retails for $25 which seems fairly priced both for the uniqueness and the quality.  Nice looking packaging.

This is a young wine from Rioja using Sauvignon Blanc grapes.  It is a bit of a different take on both white Rioja and Sauvignon Blanc.  Light silvery gold in color.  The nose is very nice.  There is some grapefruit but mostly this has a refreshing clean aroma to it with some underlying minerals.  On the palate, this is again, about the minerality.  A very round wine and easy to drink.  Some citrus and acidity but not dominant.  Works fine on its own bout will work with lighter foods.  Retails for around $15 which is a nice value.

This is an inexpensive Sauvignon Blanc that retails for $10.  It is easy drinking and a nice value for that price.  it should be popular with the wine drinker who is looking for value and pleasure.  Pale Yellow/gold in color.  Nice grapefruit on the nose and palate.  Easy drinking.  Its not about depth as much as refreshment.  Slightly sweet on the finish.

Screw capped.  Pale silvery/green/gold in color.  The nose is a mythical combination of New Zealand and old school California.  That is to say, lots of tropical fruits (guava and pineapple) and also a grassiness to it.  Very pleasant and easy.  On the palate, this is medium bodied.  The tropical fruit carries thru.  Nice acidity to counter.  Dry.  Slightly oily texture (a good thing).  Long finish.  This is an easy drinking wine, but has some depth.  Works with lighter and medium bodied foods.  It probably won't get better but should drink well for a few years.  Available at Nakedwines.com.

Light yellow in color.  The nose has vanilla, clay, lemons and minerals.  Nice.  On the palate, this is full bodied.  Slightly oily.  Has a nice tart lemony quality.  Seems like it has a nice food friendliness.  Fruit forward but not tropical.  Unique for a SB profile.  Has some level of maturity but still a nice verve to it.  Drink in the next few years.

This is an under $10 Sauvignon Blanc from France.  It is made in the style of a Loire Valley wine, that is more mineral based with some fruit and good acidity.  Light golden in color.  The nose is fine with minerals, and slight grapefruit.  On the palate, this is slightly bitter.  An underlying minerality.  Slightly flabby.  Innocuous.  For the price, it is fine, but don't expect magic.

Light golden in color.  The nose is grassy like a California Sauvignon Blanc from 20 years ago.  Also a bit of orange peel.  Cleaner on the palate with the orange peel coming thru along with some slight tropical fruit.  Full, slightly oily texture.  Good acidity.  Very good finish.  Lot's of value here at $13 especially for people (and there are a lot) who like this style of Sauvignon Blanc.

This was tried from Magnum.  A Magnum retails for $15.  That is crazy.  And, you know what, it's not bad at all.  Silvery green in color.  The nose has grapefruit and slight crushed shells.  On the palate, this is clean with grapefruit notes.  Very solid and refreshing not much depth but good energy.  Food friendly.  Amazing value.
