This is theoretically the "top" wine of Boich.  It is the equivalent of four barrels—mostly selected from the To Kalon and Missouri Hopper vineyards, plus a half barrel from the Wall Road Vineyard in 2019. Purple in color with some ruby hues, mostly opaque and bright.  Great nose, if tight, with cassis, spice, slight brown sugar, blueberries and char.  Soft texture.  Firm tannins.  Good energy.  On the palate, this is surprisingly accessible at age 5.  Cassis, blueberries, spice and char.  It unwinds in the glass.  Some warmth on the finish.  This is delicious and already drinking well although it should have no problem going another twenty years.  Great on its own, this will work well with big, fatty beef dishes such as a lamb stew but also with Roasted Chicken.
