Very nice showing for this wine.  At age 15, it is mature and needs to be drunk. Purple in color with some browning at the rim, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has cherries, black cherries with a slight minty note.  Full bodied.  Light tannins as most have been resolved.  On the palate, this is complex with layers of cherries, black cherries, chocolate, spice and slight char.  Long finish.  This is at peak and should be here for another five years or so.  While it will be a slow roll down, its worth opening a bottle now.  Great on its own or with food, this would be nice with some really stinky cheeses after dinner.
