This is yet unreleased but is a spectacular wine.  The sample bottle served at the winery was decanted to allow the sulfur to blow off  bit.  This is a ripe but not over ripe wine that seems fully developed with just a hint of sharp corners at this point.  Light golden in color with a touch of green hues.  The nose is beautiful with a floral (maybe Edelweiss but probably more like Acacia) nose along with a touch of lemon verbena.  Light tannins.  Good but balanced acidity.  The palate has lemon peel, slight peppery notes and spice.  A long finish.  Delicious wine that is great on its own, b

This is sourced from various terraced vineyards and younger vines.  Screw capped.  Green/gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose is expressive.  Tangerine peel, peaches with a slight minerality.  Medium bodied.  Lively acidity.  On the palate, green apples, lemons, and minerals.  Lots of energy.  This is fresh and easy to drink but has some depth, too.  It is refreshing on its own but will work with goat chees and roasted beet salad. Drink over the next four to six years.

Another impressive sparkling wine from this estate.  100% Chardonnay.  Disgorged in January, 2022.  12.5% abv.  Zero Dosage.  Pale, yellow in color with a nice stream of smaller bubbles.  The nose is big and excellent.  Minerality, chalk, lemons and slight salinity with lots of energy.  Crisp acidity.  On the palate, the chalk, minerals and salinity come thru but the lemon citrus is a bit more pronounced.  Long finish.  This is delicious.  It drinks nice on its own but will be even better with food.  This would work well with sushi but also a frittata.  Drink over the next seven to ten year

Disgorged March 2022.  A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Grüner Veltliner.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  A nice mousse of small bubbles.  On the nose, light toast, hay, chalk and some apricot.  Frothy.  On the palate, crisp with nice peach notes.  What seems like just a hint of sweetness.  Minerality.  Some depth.  Long finish.  This is refreshing and very food friendly.  Drink over the next few years.  This would be a great wine to sit with a bowl of (buttered) popcorn and watch a really good movie.

One of the better Austrian Reds tasted on a recent trip.  Garnet in color, purple at the core.  The nose is nice with black cherries, slight black currants, smoke and herbs.  Medium bodied.  Light tannins.  Sinewy texture grips the palate in a good way.  On the palate, this has tart acidity but it works with this wine.  Black cherries and slight candied cherries on the palate.  Some depth.  Long finish that lingers.  This is drinking well now and should continue for another ten to twelve years.  It will work better with food (due to the acidity) but is refreshing on its own.  This would go

Another pretty special "premier cru" wine from this winery.  Yellow/gold in color, clear and bright.  What a great nose with  lemon zest, slight white pepper, hints of asparagus and herbal notes.  Crisp acidity.  Nice, slightly viscous texture.  On the palate, nice minerality with lemon zest and slight char.  Long finish.  This is delicious already and should still improve.  Drink over the next ten to twelve years.  This would work well with Lamb Curry.

Very concentrated expression of Gruner.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose shows some vanilla, lemon, and spice.  Very nice creamy texture with good acidity.  On the palate, this has plenty of depth and complexity.  Lemons, and dried herbs.  Long finish.  This vintage seems like it should be more accessible while waiting on the 19's and 21's.  Drink over the next seven years.  Great on its own, this should be very food friendly.  Soft cheeses should work well.
