This is 100% from the tiny appelation, York Mountain, in Paso Robles.  Like most Torrin wines, this is a delicious, full throttle wine.  Inky purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose has black rasperries, black pepper, roasted meat and a slight floral note.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, this is big with loads of black raspberries with some black pepper and char.  At age 11, it is still youhtful and should go another decade.  Its grea on its own and would work well with big meat dishes but also Stuffed Vegetarian style peppers.

This is made from 100% Hárslevelű grapes in hungary.  It is considered a "Natural Wine".  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has some floral tones and also a bit of apricot.  Light to medium bodied.  On the palate, this is clean with a bit of peach and minerals.  Very light on its feet with lots of energy.  Clean finish.  This is nice on its own but better with food.  It would work well with a plaate of pasta with garlic and cheese.  drink over the next couple years.

This is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon with 3% Merlot from Washington state.  Purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright.  The nose has black cherries, cedar and dust.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, this is delicious.  Flavors of black cherries, some cassis, spice and cedar.  Good acidity.  Long finish.  At age 18, this is getting close to peak but still packs a punch.  It is a big wine.  Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.  It drinks well on its own and will work well with most (not seafood) dishes.  Roasted Chicken would work nicely.

Pale ruby in color, mostly clear and bright.  The nose is nice with cherries, slight cinnamon, and a hint of mocha.  Medium bodied.  Lighter tannins.  Good acidity.  On the palate, cherries and slight black cherries with a bit of spice.  Good finish.  This is still on the youthful side of peak but showing some development.  Nice on its own, this would be better with food.  A hearty beef or vegetable stew would work well.  Drink over the next ten years.  

2020 Črnko Cuvée White Wine, Slovenia, Stajerska, Wine Review

Apparently this cuvee is Muscat, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc from Slovenia.  Green/gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose has melon (canteloupe).  Light bodied and a bit thin.  Flat on the palate.  Notes of golden raisins.  A touch sweet.  Moderate finish.  This would be better with food.  It would work well with a lighter summer salad such as tuna salad.  Drink now.

2023 Khareba George 3 Rkatsiteli, Georgia, Kakheti, Wine Review

This is from the country of Georgia and made from 100% Rkatsiteli grapes.  Silvery/gold in color, clear and bright/  The nose is nice with a touch of peach and mild orange peel.  On the palate, some minerality with a bit of honey.  Dry.  Clipped finish.  This will be better with some food.  I worked well with a variety of hard and soft cheeses.  Drink over the next year or two.

This is made from 100% Krakhuna grapes from the country of Georgia.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has banana and "yellow berries".  Light bodied.  On  the palate, this is thin.  Notes of celery and light minerality.  Moderate finish.  This would be better with food and would make a nice lunch wine with shellfish.  Drink now.
