This comes in a very attractive package with a mushroom cork and wired cage. There is no vintage noticeable although the Lot number starts with L23. 7%abv. Silvery/green/gold in color with a thick mousse of medium sized bubbles. The nose has pineapple, some papaya and minerality. Medium bodied. On the palate, this is sweet. Refreshing. Long finish. This is a nice wine to start an evening or a lovely way to finish a meal perhaps with some shortbread or other plain cookie. Drink now.

I am a big fan of these wines. They are great at the end of a meal. Sweet with some effervescence and low alcohol (5%abv). Pale golden in color with a nice froth to it. The nose is nice with some apples, baked peaches and a bit of a floral note. Medium bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, this is sweet but not cloying. The bubbles, the acidity and the sugar all dance together on the tongue. Nice finish. This is lovely on its own and works well with a less sweet (plain) cookie or cake. Drink now.

Moscato d'Asti deserves more respect. It can be an excellent dessert wine that offers up enjoyment and yes, some level of contemplation. Slightly sparkling and sweet, and not expensive can be very good things if done well. This one offers up all of those. Pale yellow in color with just a bit of frizzante. The nose has peaches, orange blossoms, and just a hint of fresh thyme. Creamy texture. On the palate, this is sweet but nowhere near cloying. Good acidity. Nice finish. And low alcohol to boot (6%). It is made to consumed within the first year or two. It is great on its own and

Light yellow/silvery gold in color. Slight froth with smallish bubbles. No real nose, but with air a slight pine note comes out. On the palate, this is sweet and not cloying though very sweet. Nice minerality. Long, long finish. This will work as a cocktail or as a dessert wine. Salty foods would probably be best.

This is 100% Moscato from the Terre Siciliane IGT in Sicily, Italy. Pale golden in color with some straw color, clear and bright. The nose is lively with a bit of peach and some guava and a slight salinity. Light bodied with a nice texture. On the palate, this is slightly sweet with peach and some salinity. Enough acidity to work with lighter foods. Tasty. good finish that has a bit of lemon candy on it. This lists 9% abv. and will work nicely with grilled shrimp or crab. It also drinks well on its own. Drink now.
