Made from the Glera grape.  Very pale gold, clear and bright.  A nice mousse with lots of medium sized bubbles.  The nose is nice with limes, slight hay, a nd a bit of peach.  Medium bodied.  Nice balance and energy.  Moderate acidity.  On the palate, this is dry with flavors of seltzer, slight citrus and green apples.  Good finish with a bit of bitter almonds on it.  11% abv.  This drinks well on its own and is very food friendly.  It worked well with various salty appetizers.  This can also be utilized in many trendy cocktails.  Although this wine is very consistent from vintage to vintage (see older notes here:  NV Guinigi Prosecco di Treviso), it is not meant to last longer than a year or two.
