Having tasted this wine for many vintages, it is clear the vines and fruit are improving with age. Typical of Willamette Valley and the surrounding regions, there is an earthy quality to the Pinot grown here. This offers light raspberry, cranberry and lingonberry, which works with delicate strawberry, wildflowers and herbal notes. The acidity is spot on, holding the wine in check as a food friendly companion, while the tannins provide structure. The wine was aged for just 14 months in French oak with just a quarter of those barrels being new oak, therefore the fruit shines through. 1,450 cases. ORIGIN: Eola-Amity Hills AVA, Willamette Valley, Oregon. ALCOHOL: 13.8%
