This is made from 100% Kadarka grapes grown in southern Hungary. It is a lighter red in style that reminds me of Valpolicella crossed with Gamay. Ruby in color with some purple hues, mostly clear and bright. The nose is nice with strawberries, sour cherries and a hint of earthiness. Medium bodied. Slight tannins. The palate reflects the nose with cherries, sour cherries and strawberries. Not a lot of depth but a tasty enough wine. Moderate finish. This would be nice on the back deck on a nice day but will work with foods, too. It would be nice with Mushroom Risotto. Drink over the next few years.
