From one of the venerable older wineries, this is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Cabernet Franc, 6.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6.5% Merlot, and 2% Pinot Meunier from the Finger Lakes region of New York. And, a beautiful Rosé it is. Pinkish/orange in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with watermelon, cherries, and slight herbal note. Nice semi-plush texture. On the palate, cherries, slight bitter cherries, slight citrus and a bit of wild thyme make an interesting wine. Good acidity keeps it lively and food friendly. Long finish. One of the better Finger Lakes Rosé's I have had. This is nice on its own and will work with a wide variety of foods. We had it with popcorn and that worked out well! Drink over the next year or two.
