2022 Vida Valiente Cabernet Sauvignon The Movement, USA, California, Napa, Wine Review

This is a blend of all of Vida Valiente wines and has a charitable purpose.  The winery donates $100 of each bottle sold to the Vida Valiente Foundation which helps provide funds for first generation students attending college.  It is inky purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose has cassis, dust, black olives, spice, and slight chocolate. Medium to full bodied.  firm tannins.  On the palate, flavors of cassis, black cherries, spice, slight chocolate and char.  Tart black cherries on the finish.  This is still young but more accessible than the other wines.  It drinks well on its own and should be very food friendly.  It  would go well with Pasta with a mushroom cream sauce.  Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
