This white wine is a blend of 81% Sonoma Valley Semillon from Rossi Ranch and 19% Sonoma Valley Muscadelle from Pagani Ranch in Sonoma. This bottle was a bit different than one consumed in the last few weeks as it seemed to have a bit more "tropical fruits". Light green/silver/gold in color, clear and bright. The nose is deep and great with Mango, along with lemon zest and a slight almond note. Medium bodied but slightly viscous texture. Great balance. On the palate, this is delicious with melon flavors along with a slight lemon and minerality. Long finish. This wine is delightful but has a serious side as well. It is drinking well, if young now, but should go another seven to ten years. Nice on its own, this will work well with many foods. It would be nice with fried chicken or Tofu.
