My first time trying this vintage. It tastes like a Napa Cab. Shocker. Purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose is nice with cassis, toast, spice, slight black cherries, slight char. Full bodied. Firm tannins. Good balance. On the palate, this is tasty with cassis, oak spice, char and slight baking spices. It seems open and drinking well if still primary. Consumed over two days, it seemed the same both days. So, this was about $150 all in. It is an outstanding wine but I am not sure it would be worth buying again for my budget and considering the options out there. Hopefully, it develops more and shows something I am missing at this point. On the other hand, I have no regrets about having more in the cellar. It is an outstanding wine if one ignores the price.
