2021 Cattleya Chardonnay The Temptress Russian River Valley, USA, California, Sonoma, Russian River Valley, Wine Review

This is a well made Chardonnay that is bigger and a bit oakier in style while still offering up great fruit and balance.  Medium golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose has baked apples, lemon creme, vanilla and spice.  Full bodied.  Light tannins.  Enough acidity to carry the wine.  On the palate, the baked apples come thru along with a touch of vanilla and spice.  Long finish.  This drinks well on its own and will work with bigger foods.  It could probably work well with a steak but also a nice with with grilled Tuna Steaks.  Drink over the next five to eight years.  Fot those who like this style of Chardonnay, add a few points.
