Garnet in color, mostly clear and shimmering bright. The nose has nice black cherry fruit with some cherries and spice. Medium bodied. Nice texture. Good acidity. On the palate, there is plenty of depth. Flavors of black cherries. Light to medium tannins. Long finish. This is another "food" wine that will show much better at the table. Pasta, pizza or just about any fowl or meat dish will work. Drink over the next five to eight years.
