This is a blend of blend of 38% Chardonnay, 25% Viognier, 22% Roussanne, 6% Petit Manseng and 9% Muscat and lists 15.2% abv on the label.  Light golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is big and deep with almonds, orange peel, grapefruit, char, spice, and slight beeswax.  Full bodied.  Light tannins.  Nice balance.  On the palate, despite the prominence of Chardonnay, the Rhone varietals seem to dominate with the Chard giving the wine a bit of rounding.  Flavors of orange peel, almonds, slight lemon, and spice.  Long finnish.  This bottle was consumed over two days and was probably a bit better on day 2.  Nice on its own, this will works great with breaded chicken or veal cutlets and worked well with Truffle Pasta.  Drink over the next eight to twelve years.
