Bottle No. 4032. This is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Malbec. Purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose is nice with cassis, slight graphite, plum, cedar and spice. Full bodied. Firm tannins. Good balance. On the palate, this has some depth. It needs time to open and develop more, give it air. Flavors of cassis, plums, some black cherries, spice and slight char. Long finish. This is quite good. Mostly middle of the road in style. No harm drinking it now, but holding for another five or ten more years will be rewarded. Very nice on its own, this would work with grilled meats or also grilled vegetables such as peppers or squash.
