Nicholson Ranch

The Vibe

Nicholson Ranch is on the elegant side. It rests on top of a hill close to the border of Napa and Sonoma with vineyards surrounding it for seemingly as far as the eye can see. Nicholson has a Southwestern look and feel to it.

Particularly good if you are seeking

• Great Pinot Noir
  
• A place for indoor/outdoor receptions or event hosting.
• Outdoor picnic areas. Nicholson's picnic tables sit beside a calm, picturesque pond at the base of a hillside.
  
• A winery tour.
• More than just wine. Nicholson has an art room open to the public.

Not good for

• While Nicholson is certainly beautiful and well kept, it isn't a a place that will "wow" you with with its impressive architecture or amazing gardens. It's very good mind you, it's just that there are many wineries in Sonoma that are -visually speaking- much more impressive.
