| Notes: The appearance is light, handsome, and translucent crimson. The scent suggests both melon and (according to my girlfriend) strawberry. This lovely wine had a soft, soft texture, and bright bursts of apricot (tho girlfriend says cherry). The finish is succinct but complex; perhaps due to weightier implications of Bordeaux. When Rose succeeds, it blends red and white in the same way that the enchanted hour after sunset embarces day and night; though the finish of this unassuming Rose is terse, the moment is summery without being saccharine, reminiscent of the endless ease of a June dusk. |
