    The appearance of the wine is beautiful (not uncommon in wines from Moore Brothers shop), fine, clear, and refracts light like a deep gemstone. The scent is clean, subtle, and with hints of pepper. The texture is soft and smooth. The taste is crisp, pleasant, straightforward fig, but not overbearing. It finishes dry, neither long nor short, and you know you've had a quality burgundy. Though intrigue or suprise are slender, the repose is thoughtful and conscientiously prepared.
