Halloween, Wine, and the Much Anticipated IntoWine Community Platform

It's November 1, the day after Halloween, and I am excited to announce the launch of IntoWine's community platform. Non techies are probably already thinking...What does "community platform" mean? Well, it means that we have opened up IntoWine so that users can participate and interact with the site and with each other, both as individuals and collectively as a community of wine enthusiasts . And best of all, it's all free to the user. Some of the new features include:

Your own personal wine blog - "Blog" is short for "web log" , and essentially is an online journal. We have enabled IntoWine so that you can log in and keep your own daily wine journal. You can blog about your wine tasting experiences, your travels to wine country, upload pictures, review wines or restaurants, or really anything your heart desires. If you love wine and have wanted to get into "blogging", this is your chance. We have it all set up for you.

Your own online wine cellar - Have more wines in your collection than you can possibly remember? Keep track of the wines in your cellar or wine fridge using our online wine cellar.

Your own tasting notes archive - If you are like me you taste a LOT of wine. The problem I face is that I often can't remember the name of a wine I liked or what I liked about it. We created the My Tasting Notes section so you can make -and save- quick notes about a given wine. The best part of this is that, as more and more users add their tasting notes, you can leverage the collective knowledge of the whole IntoWine community by viewing the tasting notes submitted by others.

A discussion forum - As the owner of IntoWine, I get emails from people every day with all sorts of questions and comments. In response, we launched a discussion forum for people to talk wine, ask questions, and basically communicate.

Lastly, as it's Halloween and this is MY first blog post on IntoWine, I thought I would share some pics of my Halloween pumpkin.Wine Glass Pumpkin Carving Lit Wine Glass Pumpkin Caving
