1998 Kracher #6 Welschriesling TBA
I almost hate to open these knowing that Alois Kracher passing means they may not be replaceable. Still, these are great wines. Orange/copper in color, clear and bright. The nose is exquisite. Oranges, peaches, baked apples and honey. Thick texture. Slightly sweet, great acidity. On the palate, honeyed oranges and apples. Crisp. Perfect with the dessert of Peach Crisps. Gorgeous.

Recent Fav:A sparkling red from Piemonte. Awesome. Great as a replacement to champagne either before or after dinner.
